14.1 Operational Area Feature – Region-Based Data Segregation

The Operational Area feature in Yelowsoft enables companies to efficiently manage operations across multiple locations while using the same currency and time zone. This is especially helpful for companies operating in different states or regions within the same country.

🧩 Key Highlights

  • Set up multiple company regions under the same country — for example, one in State A and another in State B.
  • Although operations are separated by region/location, the currency and timezone remain consistent across all regions.

14.2 🚘 Driver, Rider & Admin Access

Driver Registration

  • Drivers must select the operational region they want to register under — either Primary Region or Secondary Region.
  • This determines where they appear in the system and which regional pricing and configurations apply.

👤 Rider Access

  • Riders (users) can access services from any region without needing to choose a specific location.
  • The system detects and routes requests based on availability.

🛠 Admin Panel Access

  • Each region gets a dedicated admin login with access to only that specific region’s data (e.g., drivers, trips, pricing, etc.).
  • The Primary Admin credentials have global access, meaning they can view and manage data from both primary and secondary regions.
