6.5 Export Reports

This module explains how Yelowsoft allows admins to securely extract operational data in a user-friendly manner. Reports can include driver performance, trip records, wallet balances, or logs, with two flexible export options.

🚀 Two Export Methods Available

1️⃣ Email-Based Export

  • When an admin performs any export action from within the platform, the system automatically sends the exported file to the registered email address of the logged-in admin.
  • Ensures secure delivery even if the admin navigates away from the platform.
  • Admins can open the email and download the file directly to their local device.

Ideal when: Admins want to continue working or are multitasking – the report lands directly in their inbox.

2️⃣ Download from Admin Panel (Export History)

  • Admins can visit the Export Report section inside the Admin Panel.
  • This section displays:
    • Status of the export (Processing or Completed)
    • Time of request
    • File type and name (e.g., Driver_Logs_July.csv)
  • Once marked Completed, clicking Download saves the file locally.

🕒 Note: Large datasets may take time, status will remain “Processing” until ready.

♻️ Reuse Previous Exports

  • Admins can revisit Export History to redownload previous exports.
  • Eliminates the need to repeat filtering or re-exporting the same data.

Benefit: Saves time for recurring reports or reviewing earlier snapshots.
