🔍 Overview​

YelowSoft's Bulk Trip Import feature allows taxi companies to import multiple trip bookings at once using a standard CSV file. This feature is particularly useful for clients who receive booking data in batches from third-party tools, corporate clients, or travel agents.

Instead of entering each booking manually into the system, the admin can upload a CSV file and have all trip data instantly imported into the YelowSoft platform.

⚙️ How It Works​

1. CSV Template Provided​

YelowSoft offers a CSV format template where each column is mapped to required trip fields such as:

  • Passenger name and contact info
  • Pickup and drop-off addresses
  • Date and time
  • Vehicle type
  • Passenger count, luggage, etc.

2. Upload Process​

  • The admin uploads the completed CSV file via the YelowSoft admin panel
  • The system performs data validation to ensure the fields are correctly filled

3. Booking Generation​

  • If data is valid, all trips in the CSV are automatically created as pre-scheduled bookings in the system
  • The admin can then review, assign drivers, or modify any bookings as needed

4. Driver Assignment & Dispatch​

  • Once trips are imported, admins can assign drivers
  • Trip status, driver updates, and customer notifications follow the usual workflow
