13.3 Corporate Authorizer – User Manual
Overview
In many corporate organizations, the owner or main administrator is not directly involved in managing every trip or employee request. Instead, they delegate these responsibilities to Authorizers—trusted personnel who can approve trips, manage employees, and ensure smooth corporate travel operations.
Yelowsoft’s Corporate Authorizer feature allows corporate accounts to appoint and manage such representatives with specific access rights.
Key Functions of an Authorizer
- Approve or reject business trip requests made by employees.
- View and manage the list of employees assigned to them.
- Monitor trips generated by those employees.
- Book trips on behalf of employees.
- Access limited, role-specific corporate panel functions.
Creating an Authorizer Account
Navigate to Corporate Module:
In the Admin Panel, open the Corporate List and select the corporate account where the Authorizer will be added.Add New Authorizer:
- Click Add Authorizer.
- Enter the required details:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone Number
- Email Address
Account Setup
- Once created, the Authorizer receives an email invitation with a link to set their password.
Login Access
- Using their credentials, the Authorizer logs into the Authorizer Panel, which displays only the features and employee data assigned to them.
Employee Authorization Grouping
To prevent operational overload, Yelowsoft offers the Employee Authorization Grouping feature.
Example:
A corporate company has 200 employees and 4 Authorizers.
Instead of all Authorizers managing all 200 employees, the admin can divide employees evenly (e.g., 50 employees per Authorizer).
Each Authorizer will only see and manage their assigned employees.
Benefits of Grouping
- Prevents confusion and overlapping approvals.
- Increases accountability and efficiency.
- Ensures each Authorizer has a clear set of responsibilities.
Authorizer Actions
Within their panel, an Authorizer can:
- View pending trip requests and approve/reject them.
- Generate trips for employees under their group.
- Monitor trip statuses and histories for their assigned employees.
