16. Notification (Email SMS) templates
This guide explains how to use the notification system to send updates to drivers and customers via SMS or email. The system is capable of providing all updates to users.
Step 1: Click on the settings. and Find the notification events option on the left side of the menu.
Step 2: Click on notification events. This will redirect to the notification event page where different types of notifications are preloaded. These notifications include driver registration, driver activation,
Step 3: Continue to explore the notifications. They also include driver document expiry reminders, trip start, trip end, trip acceptance, and trip cancellation by the driver.
Step 4: Notice that other events such as OTP Reset password, set password, and many more are already preloaded in the system. If the status is enabled under the SMS config, the system will start sending SMS to the drivers or users about that particular event.
Updating Preloaded Content
Step 1: If the admin wants to update the preloaded content, click on the edit.
Step 2: View the preloaded content provided by Yelowsoft. The content can be changed, but the keys defined will remain the same as the system uses these keys to retrieve data.
Step 3: The admin can send an SMS in this way. The same process applies for emails. The admin can enable or disable email events. If an event is enabled, users will receive an email from the system.
Step 4: The system also preloads the content into the system. When opened, the template will appear with preloaded content set up by Yelowsoft. The admin can change the content and appearance of this panel.
Step 5: After updating, the updated content will appear and drivers and users will start receiving the updated templates from the system. This allows the admin to provide updates to users and drivers via SMS and email.
