8.2 Corporate Budget Feature

This guide presents an updated feature of the corporate module - the Corporate Budget. This feature allows admins to set a budget for individual corporate accounts.

Setting Up Corporate Budget

Step 1: Access the new feature within the corporate module.

Step 2: Navigate to the newly introduced feature, the Corporate Budget.

Step 3: Understand that this feature is for admins to set budgets for individual corporate accounts.

Step 4: Enable the option to set the budget.

Step 5: Decide whether the budget will be set company-wise or employee-wise.

Step 6: If setting the budget company-wise, determine the start date.

Step 7: Choose the start date.

Step 8: Set the start date.

Step 9: Determine the budget duration, whether weekly or monthly.

Step 10: Finalize the duration.

Step 11: Define the budget for the specific corporate account.

Step 12: Configure the "Over Budget" option. This determines whether the corporate account can exceed the budget.

Step 13: Understand that if the "Over Budget" option is enabled, the account can exceed the budget.

Step 14: If the "Over Budget" option is disabled, the system will display a message when the budget limit is crossed.

Setting Up Employee-Wise Budget

Step 1: Understand that admins can also set budgets employee-wise.

Step 2: Select the option to apply the budget to all employees.

Step 3: Apply the budget to all employees.

Step 4: Update the budget for it to be enabled for all employees.

Step 5: Navigate to the employee list.

Step 6: Select an employee to assign a separate budget.

Step 7: Access the employee's details.

Step 8: Edit the employee's information to set a separate budget.

Step 9: Find the budget option within the employee's information.

Step 10: Define a specific budget for the selected employee.

Step 11: Set the duration for the employee's budget.

Step 12: Determine the start date for the employee's budget.

Step 13: Set the start date for the employee's budget.

Step 14: Understand that if the employee crosses the budget limit, the system will check if they can exceed the budget based on the configuration.

Step 15: Set up the employee-wise budget from the admin panel.

Step 16: Understand that admins can set budgets for all employees or for individual employees.

Step 17: Realize that when the budget is set employee-wise, admins can define individual budgets for each employee.

Step 18: Understand how the Corporate Budget feature works. Once the budget limit is reached, it cannot be crossed unless the "Over Budget" option is enabled.
