4.1 Vehicle Type Setup & Display order Management
This guide explains how to create and manage vehicle types as an administrator.
Step 1: Select the option to create vehicle types. This allows the administrator to define various vehicle categories.
Step 2: The interface displays a list of vehicle types. Assign a pricing to each type, established in the pricing section. Proceed by clicking on the New option.
Step 3: Create vehicle types according to specific requirements. From this screen, upload or select an image for the vehicle type.
Step 4: For marker images, the system provides predefined marker images.
Step 5: Provide a title for the vehicle type. Define a fare calculation method, which operates under three different methods: auto, fix, and manual. Auto calculates fare based on travel distance and time.
Step 6: The fixed option generates the same price at the end of the trip as estimated at the time of booking. The manual option allows drivers to enter the fare as set up in the car meter.
Step 7: Specify passenger and luggage capacity. Apply additional charges for capacity exceeding the minimum requirement.
Step 8: Determine the availability of the vehicle type, affecting its visibility in the listing. Specify whether it's designed for normal or corporate users.
Step 9: After creating the vehicle type, assign pricing from the same screen.
Step 10: Click on the Yes option to assign pricing directly.
Step 11: Assign the pricing directly from this screen.
Step 12: Establish pricing by time slot. Applying a specific time slot generates specific rates for that particular time.
Step 13: After assigning pricing, the system generates a config where the admin assigns a subscription plan for the newly created vehicle type.
Step 14: Once the pricing and vehicle type section is completed, activate the vehicle type by clicking on the InActive button to activate the Vehicle type.
Step 15: Once activated, the vehicle type is listed for all users. They can make an entry request by clicking on the vehicle type name. From this screen, view the created zone price and surge price.
Step 16: To update existing pricing, administrators can navigate to the Pricing section tab and click on the edit button to modify the price accordingly.
Step 17: The Accept Other button allows defining which vehicle type request will be eligible under this particular vehicle type.
Step 18: The last option is the display order, which defines the sequence listing of the vehicle type for customers.
