3.3 Driver Management
This tutorial provides a comprehensive guide on managing driver data using the admin panel.
Start by navigating to the Resource menu and choosing the Drivers option.
The admin panel displays a list of drivers divided into four categories: Active, Inactive, Pending, and Rejected.
Managing Active and Inactive Drivers
Step 1: Click the Active tab to view all active drivers accessing the driver application.
Step 2: Click on the Inactive tab to view all inactive drivers.
Managing Pending and Rejected Drivers
Step 1: Click the Pending tab to view all drivers awaiting approval.
Step 2: Click on the Reject option to reject a driver's account if the provided information is insufficient or misleading.
The admin panel allows data filtering based on registration date and driver search by name or number.
The admin panel also provides the option to export reports based on the applied filters.
Creating a New Driver Account
Step 1: Click on the New option to create a new driver account.
Step 2: Enter the driver's basic information, including email address, gender, phone number, and address.
Step 3: Set the driver's profile image and Click on the Save Next button to proceed to vehicle details.
Setting Up Vehicle Details
Step 1: Assign an existing vehicle or add a new one.
Step 2: If adding a new vehicle, select the brand and model from the list.
Step 3: Click on the Save and Next button to proceed to service assignment.
Assigning Services to the Driver
Step 1: Assign a service to the driver.
Step 2: Set up the primary vehicle type and any specific subscription plan for the driver.
Step 3: Click on the Next button to proceed to document upload.
Uploading Documents
Step 1: Upload the necessary documents for the driver and the vehicle and Set the document expiry date.
Step 2: Click on the Submit button to upload the document.
Step 3: Click on the Save Next button to create the driver account.
Once approved by the admin, the new driver account will appear in the system.
Step 1: Click on the driver's name to view their information.
The admin panel allows viewing of the driver's personal information, vehicle details, uploaded documents, current wallet balance, active and upcoming trips, and assigned services.
Step 1: Add a note for the driver, if necessary.
Verifying and Activating Driver Accounts
Step 1: Click on the Pending tab and Click on the Status bar to activate the driver based on the provided details.
Step 2: Click on the Save Next button to verify the driver's personal details and assign services.
Step 3: Click on the Save Next button to view the driver's vehicle information and uploaded documents.
Step 4: Click on the Activate button to activate the driver's account or admin can reject the driver's account because the information is insufficient or misleading.
