3.5 Driver Penalty Management

Learn how to manage driver blocking and apply penalties to drivers who consistently cancel or reject trips. This feature helps to maintain a disciplined and efficient driver network.

Setting Up Driver Penalties

Step 1: Navigate to the Settings option on the left side of the menu.

Step 2: Select the Automation option from the menu.

Step 3: You'll land on the automation screen. Here, set up driver penalties.

Step 4: Click Add to begin setting up penalties for the drivers.

The system can take actions such as blocking the driver for a specific period or applying penalties.

Creating a Driver Penalty

Step 1: Select the reason for creating the penalty.

Step 2: Choose a range between one to five for the rejection or cancellation range.

For instance, drivers who consistently reject three trips will be blocked from going online for ten minutes.

Step 3: Apply a penalty if desired, such as a hundred-dollar fine or blocked for 10 min, or both.

Step 4: Include a description, which is optional but can be useful for reference.

Step 5: Click Create to finalize the penalty.

Once created, the admin can view the penalties and how they're set up.

Unblocking a Driver

If a driver is blocked but requests to be unblocked, the admin can do so.

Step 1: Click on the Blocked Users option under the Resources menu.

Step 2: A list of blocked drivers will appear. Click on Unblock to remove the penalty from a driver.

This is how the driver penalty management system works.
