2.5 Ride Brodcasting
Dive into the exploration of the broadcasting feature with this guide. This feature enables customers to broadcast their trip requests to all nearby drivers within a specified radius. When a driver is available and within the set radius, they receive a system update about the trip request. This enhances the probability of trip completion, benefitting both the company and the user.
Accessing the Broadcasting Feature
Step 1: Click on the settings. On the left side, select the extension option.
Step 2: From the list of modules, locate and select the appropriate Ride broadcasting module.
Configuring the Broadcasting Feature
Step 1: Click on the settings for the correct broadcasting module.
Step 2: Define the radius within which the trip request will be broadcasted. This could be five kilometers, ten kilometers, etc.
Step 3: Enable the option to send broadcast notifications to drivers. When enabled, drivers receive push notifications about ride broadcasts.
Step 4: Set the conditions for when a broadcast trip request will be generated.
Step 5: If no driver is available when a trip request is updated, the system broadcasts the trip request to all nearby drivers within the defined radius.
