2.1 Trip Booking ( Single & Multi Page view )

Learn how to dispatch a trip from the admin panel.

Dispatching a Trip

Step 1: Click on the Rides options.

Step 2: Find and click on the Add Booking options to generate a trip for customers.

Choosing a Booking Template

There are two different variants for booking templates: a multiple-page layout and a single-page layout.

Multi-page Layout

Single Page Layout

Step 1: If a booking agent wants to generate a booking on behalf of customers, they'll need to input their information, including pickup and drop-off locations.

Step 2: If a customer wants to add a checkpoint between the pickup and drop-off locations, click the Add Stop option. After selecting the locations, they'll be captured and a pinpoint will be dropped on the map.

Scheduling a Trip

Based on the customer's information, the booking agent can dispatch the trip immediately or schedule it for later.

Step 1: If the booking agent dispatches the trip promptly, it will be dispatched to drivers near the pickup location.

Step 2: If scheduling a trip for later, select the date and time.

Step 3: If the trip is for a corporate client, select Corporate. The configuration will be adjusted accordingly.

Assigning a Driver

The booking agent can either auto-dispatch the trip to a nearby driver or assign it to a specific driver.

Step 1: If the booking agent wants to auto-dispatch to a nearby driver, keep the option enabled. If they want to assign a trip to a specific driver, disable that option.

Step 2: If the driver is online, a list of nearby drivers will appear. Select a driver from this list or the list of offline drivers.

Step 3: Add any notes for the driver to be more aware of the particular trip.

Finalizing the Booking

Step 1: Click on the Next button. The data will be filtered based on the previous selections.

Step 2: The data will also be filtered based on the number of customers and luggage for the trip.

Step 3: If the booking agent prefers to maintain a consistent price at the conclusion of the trip, they can enable the Fixed option. Alternatively, enabling the Auto option will calculate the final price based on the distance traveled and time taken.

Step 4: Apply additional charges or discounts if necessary.

Step 5: The selected route will be drawn on the map. If there's any doubt about the price calculation, click on the Informative button to see all the calculations.

Booking the Ride

Step 1: If the customer doesn't want to share booking details due to privacy issues, click on Book Ride.

Step 2: If the booking agent wants to enter the customer's name, click on the Next button.

Step 3: If the customer is already in the system, search for their name or number. The data will appear in a dropdown.

Step 4: If the customer isn't registered with the system, input their information to make a booking.

Step 5: Click on Book Ride to generate the booking.

Once the booking is generated, a trip ID will be created for reference. By clicking on Book Another Ride, booking agents can generate another trip for customers.

And that's how the ad booking features work.
