Step 2: Locate the trip option in the left-side menu.

Trip Configuration

Step 3: Click on the trip configuration option within the trip menu.

Step 4: Click on the trip category to explore the various categories related to trip configurations.

Step 5: Review the comprehensive list of configurations for both users and drivers.

Display of Cars on Map

Step 6: Adjust the primary configuration to display cars on a map within a defined radius. This allows customers to view nearby available cars.

Waiting Time Charges

Step 7: Set up waiting time charges based on a timeout mechanism established by the company, set a timeout, for example, 300 seconds.

Step 8: Understand that no waiting time charges apply for the initial timeout period. Charges begin to accrue once the driver reaches the pickup location.

Cancellation Timeout

Step 9: Set up a cancellation timeout for both drivers and customers. No cancellation charges apply if a trip request is canceled within this predefined period. However, cancellations made after this time may result in fees.

Pickup Radius

Step 10: Configure the pickup radius. Drivers can only mark themselves as "arrived" once they are within the defined pickup radius.

Step 11: Define the radius for drivers effectively using multiple settings.

Additional Features

Step 12: Define whether customers can make immediate trips, schedule trips in advance, or both. This flexibility is particularly useful for taxi companies and dispatch services.

Payment Confirmation

Step 13: Handle the requirement for payment confirmation. If activated, drivers cannot complete the trip until the customer has successfully made the Online payment through the app.

Emergency Contact Feature

Step 14: Enable the emergency contact feature. Customers can set up an emergency contact number. In case of pressing the SOS button, an SMS will be sent to the registered emergency contact number.

Toll Charges

Step 15: Allow drivers to add toll charges incurred during the trip if this setting is active.

Entry Payment Settlement

Step 16: Set up the End Trip payment settlement. Upon completion of a trip, drivers are required to enter the amount they received from the customer.

Step 17: Ensure that the payment is settled between the driver and the customer, accommodating situations where exact change isn't available, thus allowing the transfer of funds between wallets.

Updates on Ongoing Trips

Step 18: Enable drivers to update data while on trip such as the number of customers, and number of luggage, and change the vehicle type through the system's configurations.

Book for Others Feature

Step 19: Enable the "book for others" feature. This allows customers to input details of other customers when generating a trip.

Guest Mode Feature

Step 20: Enable the guest mode feature. It allows the admin to generate a trip request without entering the customer's details.

Fare Breakdown Accessibility

Step 21: Determine whether customers can see a detailed fare breakdown when making a trip request. If enabled, customers will have access to detailed information on how the fare is calculated.

Cancellation Charges

Step 22: Assign cancellation charges when a trip is cancelled. If enabled, and if a customer cancels the trip, these charges are transferred to the driver’s wallet.

Confirm Trip Functionality

Step 23: Enable the confirm trip functionality. When drivers reach the pickup location and are ready to start the trip, they must enter a code generated in the customer's application.

Token Booking Feature

Step 24: Enable the token booking feature. Drivers can start the trip using a token booking system, enhancing the flexibility and efficiency of the service.

Skip Destination Feature

Step 25: Enable the 'skip destination' feature. This permits customers to bypass selecting specific destinations.

Step 26: Understand that by skipping this step, the final fare calculation is deferred until the end of the trip. This calculation is based on the travel distance and time.

Finalizing Changes

Step 33: Finalize the changes by clicking the update button.

This guide demonstrates how the admin can define and adjust various trip configurations effectively.
