2.7 Trip Request Config
This tutorial provides a step-by-step guide on how an admin customizes the information displayed to drivers when they receive a trip request. This information includes details such as destination address, estimated amount, vehicle type, gender preference, and outside service requests.
Step 1: Click on the Settings option.
Step 2: On the left side of the manual, find the Trip section.
Step 3: Under Trip, locate the submenu also named Trip.
Step 4: Find the Trip Request screen under the trip configurations.
On this screen, the admin decides which information to present to drivers. This helps prevent drivers from rejecting trips due to insufficient or overwhelming data.
Step 5: The first option is to Display Destination Address.
Enable this configuration to show drivers the destination when a trip request is delivered. If disabled, they won't see the customer's destination.
Step 6: The next option is to Display Estimated Amount.
Enable this configuration to show drivers the estimated trip amount when a request is generated. Drivers often use this information to decide whether to accept or reject a trip.
Step 7: The third option is Display Request at Vehicle Type.
The system allows drivers to accept trip requests from multiple vehicle types. Admins can disable vehicle type visibility on the trip request screen, so drivers only see other details.
Step 8: The fourth option is Gender.
Enable this configuration to consider the preferred gender when making a trip request. This is particularly useful for customers for security purposes. For example, a woman customer may prefer a woman driver.
Step 9: The final option is Outside Service Request.
Companies sometimes allow customers to make trip requests outside their operational radius.
Enable this configuration to allow customers to make a trip request outside the defined territories. They may have to pay extra charges, which can be configured from the pricing side.
Step 10: To set up the pricing, enable this configuration first.
These configurations help admins decide what information is presented to drivers and customers.
